The Bee Paper tree free sketch paper is made from 25% hemp and 75% post consumer waste. No virgin pulp was used in manufacturing our Tree Free paper. This premium grade of 70 lb. sketch paper (and 120 lb. drawing) is an excellent choice for the environmentally conscious multi-media artist. The lightly textured surface is recommended for dry media: pencil, charcoal, pastel and wet media: pen and ink, light washes. The hemp fiber is stronger and softer than cotton and lasts twice as long. Hemp is a sustainable crop and is grown with far less water and chemicals than cotton papers and will last hundreds of years without degrading.
